1) We got in the car yesterday and I had waffles for the boys. They like to eat them on the go b/c they're chocolate chip (no syrup required :). So we get in the car and I said "P, do you want your pancake?" and he said - in a not so nice way - "it's not a pancake!" so I proceeded to argue with my 3-year old and said - in a not so nice way - "yes it is Peyton. You need to eat." So this went on and on for about 5 minutes with us going back and forth until I finally looked down and realized I had been saying pancake when it really was a waffle. It's pretty bad when your 3-year old is always right.
2) Another example of P's confidence here lately:
We're sitting at the dinner table and Landon says "Mommy, we're on a choo-choo!" and P goes "it's not a choo-choo Bubba" and I said "Peyton, it can be a choo-choo if Landon wants it to be" and P said (in the most serious voice ever) "It's not a choo-choo. It's just a table and chairs."
3) We got home the other night and P wanted to watch a movie. It was pretty late so I said "not tonight babe; we're just gonna watch a regular show, not a DVD" and P said "yeah Mommy? We need to watch a regular show? Not a chocolate one??"
