1) Landon barely cried when we dropped him off for church nursery last night. He told us on the way there he wasn't going to cry - he was going to be a "big boy" - just the fact that he was thinking about it and told us that on the way there makes me realize how much he's grown up.
2) I wish our house had a surveillance camera so I could show you the hilarious antics that were going on when we got home from church. We were looking for a pair of pajamas called "balls". Yes, that's where this is going. I'm sorry - I know it's totally inappropriate for a child's blog, but this is just too funny not to retell. So all of our jammies have names - "trucks and cars," "tractor," "snowman," etc. Last night we were trying to find "balls." So Steven and I are yelling across the house:
"Steven, where are balls?"
"I don't know, I think balls are dirty"
"Landon, you can't wear balls tonight - they're dirty - we have to wash your balls"
"Here they are Donna - I found balls - they're clean"
"Yay! Landon, you can wear your balls tonight"
I can't remember exactly what all was said or how long this went on, but it was long enough for me to realize what we were saying and how funny it was. I sat on the couch and cracked up. I thought you might enjoy that story :)
And in case your wondering, "balls" have replaced "orange pants" on nights where it's cold and Landon's feet need to be covered. He will only wear them b/c they have orange basketballs on them.
3) the boys have been so cute with each other lately - taking care of each other and having conversations. They are growing a little more each day. They're really becoming 3 year olds - that's hard to believe but it's only 3 short months away. I've already started planning they're birthday party, which is something I love to do!
