Halloween 2010

Halloween was great this year. The boys still don't quite understand the concept of candy (they know it's yummy but they don't ask for it) but they were so darn cute walking up to doors in their costumes with their bags on their shoulders and then digging in for some yummy treats!

We had several opportunities to let them wear their costumes, unlike last year when I had swine flu! Our first event was trick-or-treating at Pyramex (Steven's work). The boys weren't too thrilled about this event. It was late in the afternoon and naps haven't been going too well lately, so they were less than cooperative for this one.

Next we had trick-or-treating on the Collierville town square. I had never been to this event so I wasn't sure what to expect. Well, it definitely wasn't what I expected! I thought it was going to be mostly babies and toddlers and store owners would be handing out candy. Instead, it was more big kids running around like crazy and playing games that my little ones definitely weren't old enough to play. On top of that, Landon fell on our way out the door and busted pretty hard on the concrete..... :( He was still a good sport though.

Finally, we did a *little* trick-or-treating on Halloween night. We went to Nana & Papa's, Grandma & Granddaddy's, Kit & Pops's, and Tony & Jessica's. The boys were VERY cooperative for this. They had a great time and got lots of hugs & treats!

(Notice we switched the costumes to accommodate for someone's high-maintenance personality :)
