13.5 months

A little late, but I'd like to update what the boys are up to these days:

Peyton:
- just started walking from one end of the couch to the other
- does not allow you to eat in front of him w/o sharing
- will drink milk but nothing else
- takes his time eating at the table; is often left alone to finish
- picks up on new games and words pretty easily
- loves pushing anything w/wheels (cars, trains, trucks, etc.)
- loves taking buckets of toys and dropping them one by one onto the floor

Landon:
- just started standing independently for a few seconds at a time
- takes 1 step to get from one piece of furniture to another
- will eat or drink anything
- shoves entire portions of food into his mouth at once
- is pretty fearless; climbs on anything and everything
- hates getting out of the tub
- loves climbing on to the train table and has fallen off more times than I can count

Overall, I am loving this age more and more each day. The boys are playing so well together. Their favorite 4th of July activity was tackling the balloons from the mailbox and making each other laugh. They play peekaboo w/each other and crack each other up every day. Landon does not listen to "no" very well and thinks it's pretty funny when he gets in trouble. Peyton is such a ham and loves making Steven and I laugh. They are going on their first road trip this weekend. We are going to Callaway Gardens in southern Georgia for 4 days. I am SO excited about this trip! The boys have been to Nashville a couple of times to see their cousins, but this will be our 1st real family vacation. I have bins of snacks, toys, extra clothing, etc. You would think someone w/OCD packed us for this trip.....oh.....wait.......
Anway, I will have lots of pictures from the trip soon. I can't wait to go to the gardens and see all of the beautiful flowers. We're staying in a villa with our own private balcony and plan on going to the beach every day. It's manmade, so no oil! Steven plans on playing golf and I'm hoping for some good desserts.....imagine that!
