Summer
The boys have had such a fun summer already. They had a great 1st birthday, enjoyed a visit from their cousins and Aunt Kiki while mommy and daddy took a vacation, have had some great mommy-and-me time at Kindermusik, love swimming, and enjoy hanging out on the square Thursday nights for some great live music. We're going to tackle the Children's Museum next week and we already have 2 playdates lined up for next week! I still haven't been to the Pink Palace (I would actually like to see what's there) or the sprinkler park (I've heard it's *really* crowded), but I'm thinking those will need to be checked off our list at some point this summer. It's too dang hot to go to the zoo so we'll save that for this fall. I'm loving spending time with them and doing ordinary things like going to Kroger or Target. They are such different little boys than they were a month ago. They are crawling and pulling up ALL over the place, babbling a lot, and even saying simple words like "boo" when we play peekaboo. We are thinking about taking a family vacation next month to Callaway Gardens in Georgia. We had planned on waiting until next year to take the boys anywhere, but Kit and Pops are offering to take us on this lovely trip so we think it might be a good time to venture out with them. I'm not quite halfway through summer yet, but let me tell you it has FLOWN by. No time to be bored - I'm loving every minute of this crazy life!
