Just bought some snacks and sat down at Kids Play to have a heart-to-heart with the boys about the fact that I have to go back to work on Monday.  We hadn't really discussed it because I've been trying to avoid thinking about it and I was worried the boys would be sad, which would break my heart.  I sat them down and said "Boys, your summer is not over yet but Mommy's is.  Mommy has to go back to work on Monday."  Peyton said "You have to go back to your work/school?"  I said "Yes P, I sure do."  I said "Y'all have 1 more month of summer until you have to go back to school but Mommy only has 3 days."  P said "so you go back to work the day after the day after tomorrow?"  Ummmm.....why yes I do.  "But don't be sad guys, Deeda is gonna come stay with you while I'm at work."

Cue these reactions.......

I guess I don't have to worry about THEM being sad!
