The blog is back for the summer. I have really missed writing about my boys and all of their adventures, but I just haven't made the time to keep up with it. I am so tired by the time the boys go to bed at night, that I am usually not far behind them. Sometimes I literally go straight from tucking them in to tucking myself in. There is so much to write about, but for now I'm just going to continue my top 3 each day in order to keep this manageable. So here we go!
1) Please pray for the boys' Nonna. She is very sick and we want her to stay strong. The boys love her very much and I love how her eyes light up every time she sees them.
2) The boys celebrated their birthday at school yesterday, since their actual birthday falls in the "summer." They wore birthday hats and we sang happy birthday and their whole class ate yummy cupcakes. Then Happy Times Farm came to their school (this was pre-planned but I love how it fell on their "birthday" b/c they got to ride the pony first since it was their special day!) with lots of animals and a cool train. Both boys said their favorite part was feeding the "Billy goats."
That's Abigail on the left. When the kids lined up to go outside she said "Here Landon, hold my hand." Then when they got outside she planted a big wet one on his cheek!!! So cute....
Joe is the little boy in red. His dad grew up right down the street from me. We used to play in the cove 'til the streets lights came on. Those were the days....
3) The boys had their 6-month check-up at the dentist the other day. The dentist says their teeth look great and he was GREAT with the boys. He's a big UT fan and has 3 1/2 year old twin boys. Sound familiar?? The boys really liked him. He was quizzing them about super heroes. He couldn't stump my boys!
