1) Now that the boys are 4 they are saying some pretty hilarious things. Those things that people say that no one really teaches you when it's appropriate to say. For example, last night L was telling Steven something and Steven couldn't hear him. Finally, Landon said "ugh, don't worry about it dad."
2) This is the first summer that I've been able to say "what do you want to do tomorrow guys?" and they can actually tell me. So tonight I asked them that and of course they chose my least favorite place in world to go - Chuck E. Cheese (not b/c of the type of place it is, but b/c of how gross the one in Memphis is). I do love how the boys call it "Chuck E. Cheese-its" but I just can't stand the place two times within one week (we took them last Wed. for their b-day) so I came up with some excuse why we couldn't go there and the boys chose Botanic Gardens instead. Now THAT I can handle! :)
3) The boys got to meet a very special person last night - one of my best friends from college moved back to Memphis this past weekend and she and her husband and son came over yesterday to cook out with us. It was nice to see the boys play together. She is an amazing person and I'm so glad our families get to hang out now. Pics coming soon....
