1) Yesterday the boys decided they wanted to drag out our tub of costumes and play....ummmm.....what's the male version of dress up??  Anyway, we all dressed up - yes, even mommy and daddy got in on the action - but P decided he'd rather sit in the chair and play on mommy's iphone while the rest of us ran around like bafoons with costumes on.  I had to laugh when I heard myself say "Peyton, I think it's kind of sad that you're missing out on the action.  The rest of us are enjoying family time but you'd rather be on your phone."  Hmmmm.....shouldn't I be having that conversation in about TEN YEARS??  Funny thing is it was *his* idea to get the costumes out in the first place!

2) Soccer was a bust.  The boys just weren't ready for a team sport.  I'm glad we did it for a short time, just to get them used to playing a sport, but it definitely didn't go well for poor L.  He cried every single week.  We had to miss 2 weeks ago b/c he was running a fever and then we missed last week b/c we were driving home from FL.  This Wed. is the last week - we're debating whether or not we should show up for our medals :)
