I know I have missed a few days of blogging, but if you notice, the days I miss are usually Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. My weekends are so short and go by so fast, I feel like every waking moment should be spent on playing with the boys. We had an amazing weekend this past weekend. My favorite kind of Friday night - dinner at home, boys stay up a little late, TV or play a card or board game with Steven. Saturday morning was the zoo - the boys had a great time and so did me and Steven. We usually go to church on Sat. night but we have missed a few weeks for different reasons. Last weekend was girls/guys night out, this weekend was spending time with our great friends Mandy and Lee and their little boy Grant, who is just a little younger than the boys. We've really tried to spend more time with friends here lately who have children our boys' ages. I feel like that's so important for the boys and for us as well. I will post pictures soon of the boys playing with Grant - it was hilarious - they are so similar in personality. We had a great time and look forward to doing more things with that family!
Here are my top 3 for today:
1) Peyton has this hilarious habit of talking like this:
"I lika da juice Mommy (when eating a popsicle)" - read that line w/an Italian accent :)
2) We were driving to the zoo Sat. and Landon started singing "we're going to hell, we're going to hell" - I quickly realized he was saying "we're going downhill" - ha!
3) the boys are so good at annoying each other already - as I'm sitting here typing this, they are watching Cars and doing this:
L: don't hit me (touches P on the shoulder)
P: you don't hit me (touches L on the shoulder)
and back and forth, and back and forth, and back and forth......

Gotta go break 'em up.......
