3/16/12

As a teacher, I have learned that for some reason the second I brag on a student, they turn around and act like a fool. I have no idea why, but it happens every time. Remember how awesome my kids were the other day??
Well, today my kids are still awesome, but boy oh boy are they testing my patience. Let's just say we had a clean up on aisle 8 at Kroger b/c my son decided it would be better to throw the M&Ms all over the place than to hand them over to me. He has tried and tried all day long to push Steven and I to our breaking points.
My devotion the other day said "be careful not to take too much credit when your children are good, and be careful not to take too much credit when they are bad."
I'm trying really hard not to take it personally today.

On a side note, they have done better than ever with going to the potty today. Zero accidents.....zero. And we ran errands for 2 hours. They told us they needed to go potty while we were visiting with Nonna and Poppa. They are so proud of themselves - they tell everyone they see "we don't teetee in our underwear.....nooooo.....we stay dry..." :)
