This one's for you Mom and Dad.....

Let's see.....a 29 month update?? I've always thought that was funny when moms actually still used months to identify how old their children are. My boys are 2 (or even 2 1/2 is ok) but I never think about how old they are in months anymore. So here goes with an update......
The boys are hilarious at this age. They are so stinking cute - saying the funniest things - sometimes even *trying* to be funny. I swear Landon was making fun of me yesterday. He asked me a question and I said "ok" and then he snarls up his nose and goes "ooooook" in the funniest voice like he was mocking me! I couldn't help but laugh.
This morning we were watching cartoons and he finished his milk. I said "go put your cup in the sink Landon" and he goes "DADDY! CUP! SINK!" He has already learned to holler for dad when he's too lazy to do something himself.
Peyton has this new thing where he widens his eyes and shakes his head back and forth when he gets excited - I have a video of him doing it the last time my sister came in town but my computer isn't uploading too well from home so I'll have to do it from work one day this week.
The boys are very attached to Steven and I right now b/c we've both been home for a solid week (Fall Break) with them. It's been great. We have done some fun things and also had some nice downtime to just bond with the boys. It is going to be so hard to go back to work tomorrow, but at least we feel refreshed and restored.
Halloween is coming up and we are super excited about the boys' understanding holidays more this year. They got really excited when we decorated the house for Halloween and I can only imagine how much they are going to love Christmas decorations. Blinking lights, Santa, baby Jesus.....I can't wait!
