Took the boys to Skye's farm today to see the Easter bunny and pet some animals. It was fun - the boys said "bunny" and "Easter bunny" the whole way out there but then wanted nothing to do with him as soon as we got there, of course. We got a picture of the whole family but it definitely wasn't the greatest. They loved petting the animals and feeding the donkeys. P would take a cookie and chunk it into the donkey's face instead of holding it out for him to eat it :) They LOVED petting the real bunny. L had a bit of a meltdown toward the end so we hightailed it out of there with him screaming. It was still a nice time though and Skye was thrilled that we came. Her mom personally thanked us for coming and told us how much it meant to Skye.
They would touch this bunny and the real pet bunny but were terrified of the REAL Easter bunny - they wouldn't even give him five, poor guy :)
