Since the boys love "Nemo" so much, we decided to get them their first fish. We picked an orange one since Nemo is orange, but orange doesn't = Nemo in our house. Orange = Tennessee. So the name of the fish is KNOX. I know.....some of you are puking in your mouth right now. But I actually came up with the name. I couldn't stand the thought of a fish named Peyton, which is apparently what Steven wants to name EVERYTHING. It's really hard to get a picture of him, so here's a fish he looks similar to.
He's a little darker than that though. And he's ADHD, which is also appropriate for our family. Maybe I can teach him a few things.....
The boys love him. He is sitting on the bar, right beside their high chairs, so they get to look at him while they eat and watch Nemo. He is a Betta fish, not a Nemo fish, b/c the Petco lady said a Nemo fish will get bigger and require a tank. And we're not ready for a tank yet. This is a trial run in a fish bowl :)

ReplyDeleteYay for fish!! I love my fish!! Now the dog is another story! LOL! Pretty soon you guys can move up to a tank like ours! We need to talk about the name though! haha
