Saving money

I told myself a long time ago I would not go overboard on Christmas this year, and so far I'm doing a pretty good job. I have saved tons of money by scouting sales and using coupons. When you're buying for 2 kids plus family, friends, and co-workers it can get pretty expensive. I've tried really hard to stick to a budget and find inexpensive gifts that come from the heart. So if you get a picture of the boys glued to a piece of construction paper, you better LOVE it!!! :)
Seriously, I am almost addicted to saving money these days. I went to Target last night and had a coupon FOR EVERY SINGLE THING on my list. My total went from 95.55 to 60.55 after coupons - including 3 Christmas gifts. I got a frozen pizza for dinner (I was tired and didn't feel like cooking) for 1.24. Unbelievable!!!
Looking forward to a great week with my family for Thanksgiving. Tomorrow is the boys' 18-month dr. appt. followed by a trip to see Santa at Bass Pro to cheer them up, Thursday is Thanksgiving with Steven's family, Friday is a little shopping with my sister (yay!) plus a child-free evening with friends, then Saturday is my family's Thanksgiving dinner (w/our annual football playing outdoors hopefully) and Sunday is pictures with my family. We've never had a professional picture of my WHOLE family, so wish us luck!
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you - I am so incredibly thankful for my friends and family. I love you all! Have a great week! Lots of pictures to come next week! :)
