My point is my dad always tells me his mom used to greet him at the door after school and say "pick a hand!" (can't you just picture her with her apron on and a big smile on her face??) - when he chose a hand she would open it up and surprise him with fresh baked cookies, brownies, etc. Of course she had a treat in both hands so it really didn't matter which hand he chose, but she must have loved seeing his face light up at her homemade treat. I'm sure it made him forget his bad day or make a good day even better. I have a feeling I'm going to be just like that.....I love eating comfort food after a bad day or celebrating an accomplishment with something sweet. I love seeing people enjoy a good dessert I've made and I especially love seeing my boys' faces light up when they've finished a meal and I hand them a bite of a cookie or some apple dapples. And nothing is cuter than a 10 month old eating ice cream, right?? I gave my nephew his first bite of ice cream around 8 months and I still think that's why he likes me best :)
It's a good thing most of my dessert recipes are Weight Watchers.....I think I'll make something this weekend.......
p.s. Peyton drank water from my water bottle last night and it was adorable. He will not drink water from a sippy cup so maybe I'll just have to give him water bottles from now on! :)
I am crying right now for so many reasons.....

Let's hope they don't inherit Grandaddy's weight issue from picking the correct hand. :)
