I've found myself saying "I can't wait until they can ____" a lot lately. At first I was really good about not wishing their lives away and trying to rush things. But every week seems to bring a more fun side of them and I'm so ready for them to walk/talk/play more. I'm trying to just enjoy each moment though b/c I know it won't last long! Landon is already throwing temper tantrums like a 2 year old! :) Overall he is a very happy baby but there a 3 times when he gets really mad: 1) when you try to hold him when he wants to play, 2) when he gets out of the bathtub, 3) when you lay him down for a nap

Changes - the story of my life
The boys are changing so rapidly. It seems they learn something new every day. Landon was making fish faces yesterday and then I would do it back to him and he would crack up. I'm trying to teach Peyton how to blow kisses b/c he picked up on waving byebye so quickly. He laughs at Landon all the time now. They are both getting so big. We had a great Easter weekend, even though we woke up Sunday with no hot water. We were going to go to church but didn't make it. We were a little hesitant about going anyway since that would've been the boys' first time in the church nursery. They are going through such a "stranger" phase right now - it seems to be primarily with men though. If they don't know you, they will cry. It only lasts for a few seconds and I've read this is totally normal for this age, but I hate it when it makes people feel bad!

You sound just like I did. Now I would give anything to turn back the clock just for a day. Mark is asking for a cell phone and Cara wants to grow up so fast! Try and enjoy them at this age because really they are at a great age! I have several friends having a 3rd child because they realize how lucky they were!! Give the boys a kiss from me!
ReplyDeleteI want to know who stole my 'baby' grandsons? These are little boys...
ReplyDeleteOh honey! You know how much I say that! I look at your boys and think, "I can't wait until Grant can do that!"
